Dr Robert Crawhall has been appointed the first president and CEO of NanoQuébec. Crawhall has been the president and CEO of the National Capital Institute of Telecommunications for a past seven years, following a 15-year career at Bell-Northern Research and Nortel Networks Corp where he held the positions of director of advanced strategic planning and director of disruptive network technologies. Crawhall's arrival, effective July 2, marks the beginning of a re-organization at NanoQuébec.
