James Milway has been appointed executive director of the Martin Prosperity Institute (MPI), a position he also holds with the Institute for Competitiveness and Prosperity (ICP). The MPI — formerly the Centre for Jurisdictional Advantage and Prosperity — is led by Dr Richard Florida and received $50 million from the Ontario government in its 2007 Budget (R$, April 24 & July 3/07). Milway will use his 30 years of experience in business and public policy to help determine how the two institutes will work together.
