Dr Pierre Bilodeau has been appointed chief operating officer of International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada, effectively immediately. Bilo-deau joined ISTPCanada in 2011 as VP operations after several years at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council as director of bioindustries and director of scholarships and fellowships. While at NSERC he helped to launch public-private research networks in aquaculture and capture fisheries as well as the ENGAGE and CREATE programs and Industrial Innovation Scholarships. Prior to joining NSERC, he was a team leader and research manager with Medicago Inc, a Quebec City-based clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. Bilodeau holds a BSc and MSC in biochemistry from Laval Univ and a PhD in plant sciences from Australian National Univ. He succeeds Dr Henri Rothschild who was president and CEO since ISTPCanada's inception seven years ago....,
