Dr Patrice Audy

Dr Patrice Audy has been appointed manager of NSERC-Atlantic, replacing Dr Yves Gagnon. Audy comes to NSERC-Atlantic — one of five planned regional NSERC offices — from the laboratories of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) in Fredericton NB. A molecular pathology researcher, he has worked at the AAFC's potato research centre since 1997 on the potato breeding program focusing on resistance to late blight. A former recipient of many NSERC scholarships, Audy holds a BSc in agronomy and a PhD in plant biology from Laval Univ. Prior to his Fredericton posting, he worked at the Lethbridge Research Centre and Hokkaido National Experiment Station in Sapporo Japan….
