Dr John Esdaile has been appointed scientific director and CEO of the Canadian Arthritis Network (CAN), a Network of Centres of Excellence. Esdaile has been involved with CAN since its inception and was instrumental in creating the Arthritis Research Centre of Canada. He retains his position as head of the Univ of British Columbia's division of rheumatology and conducts research into arthritis.….
