Dr Hadi Mahabadi

Dr Hadi Mahabadi has been selected as the 2010 recipient of the Robert F Reed Technology Medal, presented annually by the Printing Industries of America. Mahabadi is VP and director of the Xerox Research Centre of Canada (XRCC) which he joined in 1981. The author of 80 US patents and more than 150 papers, he is best known for developing high-quality reactive extrusion-based toners and emulsion aggregate toners which enabled high-speed digital printing and the creation of on-demand and personalized printing.
