Clifford Gross has been appointed president and CEO of Innovacorp, Nova Scotia's primary agency for high-tech incubation, mentoring and venture capital investment. Gross is a US native who was CEO and chair of UTEK Corp, Tampa FL (now Innovaro) from 1997 to 2009. UTEK specialized in transferring university technologies to the private sector and was listed on the NYSE-AMEX. He holds 19 patents and has written two books on tech transfer. Gross holds a MSc and PhD in ergonomics and biomechanics from New York Univ.
