Vancouver firm to help design research vessel

Vancouver's Robert Allan Ltd has successfully teamed with Alion Science and Technology Corp, Mclean VA to win the design competition for a new research vessel commissioned by Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO). The contract was awarded by Sembawang Shipyard Pte Ltd, Singapore under contract to teekay Holding Australia Pte Ltd. Alion has a Canadian branch in Kanata ON….
