Penny Park

Penny Park has been appointed the inaugural executive director of the Science Media Centre of Canada (SMCC) effective January 1st. Park will relocate from Toronto to Ottawa at the SMCC's office at the Canada Science and Technology Museum. Park comes to SMCC from the Discovery Channel where she has held a number of positions over 15 years including senior producer of live specials. Prior to that, she was a producer with the CBC's high-profile science show, Quirks and Quarks.
