Panel to advise on intern'l education strategy

The federal government has formed an expert panel to provide advice on how to attract more international students and researchers to Canada as part of its International Education Strategy. The panel will also advise on strengthening Canada's engagement with emerging priority markets; expanding the delivery of Canadian expertise, knowledge and education services abroad; and promoting partnerships between Canadian and international education institutions. The advisory panel will consult with various stakeholders before reporting to the ministers of International Trade and Finance in early 2012.
