Not-for-profits acquire three scholarly journals

Canadian Science Publishing (CSP) and the Agricultural Institute of Canada have joined forces to acquire three leading academic journals. Both organizations are not-for-profits with CSP being spun out of the National Research Council where it was known as NRC Research Press. The acquisition takes effect immediately and includes Canadian Journal of Animal Science, Canadian Journal of Plant Science and Canadian Journal of Soil Science.The publications were founded in 1921 and the acquisition ensures that they remain in independent Canadian hands....
