HTX provides $750,000 for PatientOrderSets.com

The Health Technology Exchange (HTX) is contributing $750,000 to a $2-million project by PatientOrderSets.com (POS) to integrate its technology platform with computerized provider order entry and electronic medical record systems. The collaborative, web-based content management system allows hospitals and physicians to customize and deploy evidence-based order sets, dramatically improving the quality of care and ability to manage care in a predictable manner. POS was founded in 2006 by Dr Chris O'Connor, a critical care physician at Trillium Health Care. It is currently being used by more than 140 hospitals….
