Guy Labine has been appointed president of the board of directors for the Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC) , founded in 1985 to build capacity for engaging Canadians in S&T. Labine is CEO of Science North in Sudbury — an active member of the association since its inception. He joined the organization in 2001 as director of business development and was promoted to CEO in 2011. Labine attended Laurentian Univ and the Univ of Ottawa and holds a degree in physical education.
