Genome Canada will invest $5 million in 17 projects worth nearly $11 million through its latest Bioinformatics and Computational Biology competition. The funding leverages $1.4 million from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and an additional $4.5 million secured by the regional genome centres from provincial governments, industry and other partners.
