The New Brunswick Department of Economic Development has opened 12 offices across the province and launched three programs to stimulate the innovation, growth and export reach of the province's small- and medium-sized enterprises. The INNOV8 Program (replacing the Technology Adoption and Commercialization Program) provides up to $50,000 for each successful proposal in the areas of aerospace and defence, biosciences, industrial fabrication, information and communications technology, value-added food and value-added wood. The New Brunswick Growth Program is designed to stimulate capital investment and will provide up to $100,000 for new start-ups and $60,000 for existing firms.
