Genome Canada has launched a targeted competition for large-scale research projects. Up to $30 million is available for forestry and environment projects lasting up to three years, and an equal amount is available for a multi-sector competition targeting agriculture, fisheries and human health. Genome Canada will provide a maximum of $5 million for a single project, to be matched with funding from other sources.
