Five Ontario-Singapore research projects funded

Another five research projects have been approved under the Ontario-Singapore Science and Technology Agreement (OSSTA). The projects are in the areas of information technology, electronic devices, photonics and earth sciences and will be funded to the tune of $3 million over two years, with $1 million each coming from Ontario, Singapore and industrial partners. The projects are the result of a call for proposals issued last summer and were selected from a field of 23. The OSSTA program was established in 1994 and Ontario last funded the program with $2.5 million over two years....
