Dr Tony Rahilly

Dr Tony Rahilly has been appointed DG of the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) after serving for nearly two years in an acting capacity. Rahilly takes over IRAP's helm at a time when several key management positions remain vacant and concerns have been raised about its continuing effectiveness in assisting Canadian businesses. One of his first duties upon the announcement of his permanent status July 4 was the appointment of
