Dr Stella Atkins

Dr Stella Atkins has been appointed to the science committee of the Northern Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Atkins is director of Simon Fraser Univ’s Centre for System Science. She will serve on the panel for four years, attending three meetings annually. The committee has a mandate to foster international contact by advancing electronic communication within the scientific community.
