Dr Kim Allen

Dr Kim Allen has been appointed as CEO and registrar of the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), representing 65,000 licensed engineers He will be responsible for administering the Professional Engineers Act, which grants licences, sets standards and regulates engineering in the province. Prior to joining PEO, he was CEO of Universe2U Inc, a public company. He was also founding president of DTE/Probyn Energy Solutions. Other experience includes six years as CEO of Scarborough Public Utilities Commission and 12 years with Ontario Hydro. Allen holds a MBA from the Univ of Toronto and a BSc in electrical engineering from the Univ of Ottawa….
