Dr Katharine Wright has been appointed policy advisor to Ed Holder, minister of state for science and technology at Industry Canada. Wright was previously a policy analyst with the department. Her duties included working on briefing materials for Canada's participation in the UK G8 Science meeting in 2013 and the annual Carnegie meetings of science ministers. She holds a PhD in the history and philosophy of S&T from the Univ of Toronto....
