Dr Henry Mantsch has been appointed senior advisor at the Office of the National Science Advisor with a focus on international affairs. Mantsch comes to the NSA from the Canadian Embassy in Berlin where he was S&T counsellor for the past five years. His previous career with the National Research Council spanned 34 years and included extended periods at the Steacie Institute for Molecular Sciences (head of the spectroscopy section) and the Institute for Biodiagnostics (head of the biospectroscopy section).
