CRC and TRLabs collaborate on wireless research

TRLabs and the Communications Research Centre (CRC) have signed a collaborative research agreement aimed at accelerating industry development of wireless devices, applications and systems. A memorandum of understanding will establish cooperative wireless projects capitalizing on strengths in the areas of antennas, broadband multimedia communications, signal processing and channel characterization and integrated circuits. The projects will be related to R&D, scientific information exchange and technology transfer. Further collaborations could involve areas such as optics, rural and remote broadband access and multimedia. The wireless projects will be conducted by CRC’s Wireless and Inter-networking Systems Experimentation Laboratory and the Network for Emerging Wireless Technologies, a subsidiary of TR Labs….
