The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) has absorbed the Society of Collaborative Opportunities and Advancement of Professionals. (SCOAP). With a combined membership of more than 25,000, the merged organization will see SCOAP activities expand across the country and take on a stronger industry focus. SCOAP was formed in 1981 to facilitate dialogue on the impact of information and technology on individuals, organizations and society at large.
