Canada's three granting agencies are teaming with their Quebec counterparts to extend the reach of the Canadian Common CV for researchers. The Canadian Common CV is a collection of a common, standardized, web-based, data set required from the funding agencies. It's designed to ease the process of applying for funding from the participating agencies. The Common CV Network has 18 subscriber organizations representing 47,000 researchers that include federal and provincial granting agencies and health charities. Established in 2002 by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Quebec granting agencies, its newest members are the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
