Carleton and DFO establish new research network

Carleton Univ and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans have teamed to establish a network for assessing the impact of hydro power facilities on aquatic ecosystems. The network held its inaugural meeting at a two-day workshop at Carleton attended by representatives from industry, government and academia. Hydro power is expected to double in Canada over the next 15 years, posing increased risks to fish and fish habitat....
