CANARIE supports high-speed network in NB

CANARIE is investing $7 million in a dark-fibre optical network in northern New Brunswick to boost R&D and commerce in the region. The project — a collaboration with the Government of New Brunswick and F6 Networks — will provide the region's colleges and research institutes with high-speed connectivity of 100Gb/s to position northern NB as a hub for information and communications technology companies and data centres.
