Brad Duguid has been named Ontario's new minister of Economic Development Innovation, following a Cabinet shuffle that resulted in a merger between the Ministry of Research and Innovation and Ministry of Economic Development (see page 6). First elected in Scarborough Centre in 2003, Duguid has held three previous ministerial postings: Energy, Aboriginal Affairs and Labour, as well as parliamentary assistant to the minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
