Bell Canada invests $1 million in McMaster Univ

Bell Canada is investing $1 million over five years in McMaster Univ's master of engineering entrepreneurship and innovation program (MEEI). The program will focus on systems and technology development projects, in which students will work with Bell employees to research and evaluate business breakthroughs. The investment follows a recent $450,000 contribution at McMaster by Bell towards biomedical engineering in telerobotics, teleinformatics, communications networks, telepathology and other IP-based technologies. The MEEI program was launched to provide engineers and scientists with entrepreneurial skills and is taught by business practitioners....
