BAE SYSTEMS RECEIVES $5.8 MILLION IN TPC FUNDING

BAE Systems Canada Inc (formerly Canadian Marconi Co) has received $5.8 million from Technology Partnerships Canada to advance its research program for an aeronautical television antenna system at its Kanata ON facility. The funding will help the Montreal-headquartered BAE to create or maintain 476 jobs over the term of the project. BAE is working on the system in conjunction with US-based AirTV Ltd, which is providing a transoceanic service....
