PAPRICAN opens EvaluTree division in Vancouver

The Pulp and Paper Research Institute of Canada (PAPRICAN) has officially opened its EvaluTree division to provide analysis of wood and wood fibre quality. Located at its Vancouver R&D facility, the EvaluTree facility was created with $6.5 million in funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation, the BC Knowledge Development Fund and PAPRICAN. Services will also be provided through Univ of Northern British Columbia and the Univ of Victoria, including SilviScan, chemical analysis, fibre quality analysis and microscopy and imaging....
