EC funds global water system data management

Environment Canada (EC) is contributing $2.5 million to the United Nation's Global Environment Monitoring System GEMS/ Water to support data management activities. The contribution has been criticized as inadequate in an area where Canada has previously demonstrated global leadership. GEMS/Water is based at the National Water Research Institute in Burlington ON....
