Dr Noreen Golfman has been appointed president elect of the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences. Golfman is currently serving in the position and will begin her official two-year term this November. She is a former president of the Association of Canadian Colleges and University Teachers in English and has a strong interest in film, video and media. Golfman holds a PhD in English literature from the Univ of Western Ontario and is currently associate dean of gra
