Cytochroma Inc boosts private placement by $3.5M

Two Quebec investment firms have added $3.5 million to a $12-million private equity financing of Cytochroma Inc announced late last year (R$, November 13/01). T2C2 Bio/2000 LP and CDP Sofinov have provided $2.5 million and $1 million respectively to the financing, which will expand and accelerate the R&D program of the Kingston ON-based applied genomics firm. Cytochroma is a leader in the discovery of P450 genes, identifying the function of the proteins encoded by those genes and the discovery of drugs regulating cyto-chrome P450 enzymes to address unmet medical needs....
