Yves Landry Foundation receives funding top-up

The Yves Landry Foundation (YLF) has received an additional $1 million from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, bringing to $18 million the support it has received from the agency since 2009. Through its Achieving Innovation and Manufacturing Excellence Global Initiative, the YLF provides assistance to small- and medium-sized manufacturing companies in the form of training to upgrade workers and assist firms with productivity improvements and product diversification. The new funding will support an additional 30 firms, re-train 500 more workers and create 60 new jobs....
