UWaterloo, Spectrum 28 support student ventures

The Univ of Waterloo‘s engineering department is partnering with Spectrum 28, Menlo Park CA, to launch a Student Venture Program to provide senior students with access to Silicon Valley industry expertise and faculty mentorship, as well as access to a $2-million venture capital fund. The idea for the entrepreneurship program came from Lyon Wong, who graduated from UWaterloo's Systems Design Engineering Program and went on to found Spectrum 28.
