The Alberta government is providing $285 million over three years to construct the Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Science (CCIS) at the Univ of Alberta. The CCIS will become the flagship building for U of A's faculty of science. The new "green" building is expected to meet the teaching, research and technology transfer needs of the faculty for the next 10 years.
