Sunil Sharma

Sunil Sharma has been appointed managing editor of Techstars Toronto, the first Canadian branch of the Boulder Co-based accelerator and focused on the GTA’s tech start-up community. Sharma comes to Techstars — a global ecosystem of founders, mentors, investors and corporate partners — from Extreme Startups and Extreme Accelerator and is credited with bringing the concept of the Founder Institute program to Toronto. Techstars Toronto was recently named as the first accelerator to be given authority by the federal government to grant Startup Visas. Sharma holds an MA from the Univ of Toronto and a BA from the Univ of Victoria.
