The 21st meeting of the Carnegie Group of Science Ministers and Chief Science Advisors has been set for June 1-3 in Quebec City. The meeting is being held in the home riding of Dr Gilbert Normand, secretary of state for science, research and development, and will provide a forum for Canada to promote its interest in developing principles for international cooperation in science and technology (S&T). The Car-negie meetings are held about twice annually, with the first meeting held in 1991. Participants include representatives from the G-8 nations who engage in informal, private discussions relating to S&T.
