Precarn Inc has awarded $540,000 to support a variety of disciplines relating to university-based robotics and intelligent systems projects. The $7,500 awards went to 72 graduate students in areas such as electrical and mechanical engineering and psychology. Precarn has also made an award of nearly $1 million to support a surveillance project led by MacDonald, Dettwiler & Associates Inc, Richmond, BC.
