The Univ of Regina has received $2.7 million to support construction of a pilot plant to demonstrate its catalyst for converting different feedstocks into hydrogen. The projects should take about three years and are supported by the Canada-Saskatchewan Western Economic Partnership Agreement. U of R has established a critical mass of researchers working on carbon capture and storage and biofuels such as biodiesel and hydrogen.
