Peter Garrett has been appointed president of Innovate Calgary after serving for a year in an interim capacity. Garrett is a former executive with the wireless division of Nortel Networks Corp and was CEO of Global Thermoelectric until 2003. Since then he has worked as a technology investor and business and technology consultant. Garrett holds a BSc in electrical engineering from the Univ of Calgary.
