PCE uses TPC assistance to create three new centres

PCI Geomatics Enterprises Inc has received $5.6 million from Technology Partnerships Canada (TPC). The assistance supports the Richmond Hill ON-based firm’s project to develop three prototypical geocapacity centres focused on mapping, the environment and disaster management for homeland security. PCI develops software for remote sensing, photogrammetry data and data visualization techniques. The new centres target the geospatial information needs of the aerospace and defence sectors. The R&D are aimed at developing applications that merge large volumes of satellite imagery and mapping data to create digital maps in near real time. PCI has nearly 90 employees sp
