OCAD launches $60-million private-public campaign

OCAD Univ has launched a $60-million campaign to enhance its campus footprint in Toronto's creative district and enhance student experience. The Ignite Imagination campaign seeks to raise $30 million from private sources and $30 million from government and other public sources. To date $15.6 million in private donations has been pledged and it has reached 25% of its public goal. Funding will be used to provide scholarships fund research, enrich academic programs with more experiential learning opportunities and upgrade and expand existing studios and laboratories. OCAD is dedicated to art, design and digital media education....
