New economic development agency set for Waterloo

The Waterloo and surrounding region are seeking an inaugural president and CEO for its recently created Waterloo Region Economic Development Corp (WREDC). The corporation was established to accelerate the attraction of new and expanding companies and strengthen the regional economic ecosystem. The strategy will be implemented in conjunction with Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and surrounding townships.
