Micralyne enjoys year of record revenue

Micralyne Inc will be expanding its manufacturing, assembly and testing capacity following a record year of revenue. The Edmonton-based manufacturer of micro-electrical-mechanical systems (MEMS) components boosted revenue 53% to $15.6 million, while net income increased more than 10-fold for the year ended March 31. The privately held firm's latest success was spurred by new customers, expanded orders from existing clients, a push into Japanese and Chinese markets and new product offerings targeting the telecommunications industry....
