Maurice Bitran has been appointed ADM of the secretariat for the new Ontario Jobs and Prosperity Council (OJPC), effective July 11th. Bitran was most recently assistant DM of the Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation's strategic policy division, a post he has held since 2009. The OJPC was announced in the last Ontario Budget and its chair is Gordon Nixon, president and CEO, Royal Bank of Canada. The council's members have yet to be appointed....
