Louis Duhamel, a former executive at Secor Conseil Inc, has joined the board of directors of the Business Development Bank of Canada. Duhamel worked for 13 years with Secor and in 1998 founded its SME division, Taktik. He remains a partner of that division, in addition to teaching at the Institute du Commerce Électronique. Duhamel holds a BA in Communications and a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia Univ. and an MBA from Schiller International Univ. They are: Patricia Bovey, director, Winnipeg Art Gallery; Dennis Browne, a St. John’s lawyer and former provincial consumer advocate; Carolina Gallo-Laflèche, executive producer of Entreprises de création Panacom inc. and VP of the Lincoln-Tupper Promotion and Development Corp; Eileen Gillese, a judge of the Ontario Court of Appeal; Philip Owen, former Vancouver mayor; and, Patrick Pichette, CFO at Bell Canada.
