Two Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) have been approved for their second seven-year funding cycle after being reviewed by an expert panel of national and international researchers. Intelligent Sensing for Innovative Structures (ISIS) and Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) were provided with funding for the next four years totalling $29.2 million. ISIS received $12.8 million and SFM received $16.4 million. The final tranche of funding for each will be awarded following a mid-term review.
