Iris Almeida-Côté has been appointed CEO of the Royal Society of Canada, replacing Darren Gilmour who stepped down as executive director early this year. Almeida-Côté has more than 30 years of senior management experience in public, private and non-profit organizations in Canada and abroad, with expertise in financial risk management, governance and strategic business planning.
